Night of Science

Senior Monday

The first Monday of every month, seniors 65 and better can enjoy the Science Center exhibits, an IMAX film or digital show and educational programming on the quietest day of the month for only $8! No coupons or additional discounts accepted.

Exploring Ethics

In conjunction with the Center for Ethics in Science and Technology, the Fleet Science Center welcomes guests to encounter science from an ethical viewpoint. Held on the first Wednesday of each month, this ongoing series brings together community leaders of various backgrounds to examine current scientific issues from diverse perspectives. Bring your own questions and join in the discussion! Learn more about upcoming Exploring Ethics events.

Night of Science

No kids. All fun. Fleet Night of Science is a quarterly after-hours event for chic geeks 21+. You get the science center all to yourself (no kids allowed!) to explore exhibits, sip cocktails, enjoy edibles, listen to music and get your geek on with science experiments, clever chats and delightfully nerdy experiences.

Suds & Science Two Scientists Walk Into a Bar

Suds & Science

Sometimes the most interesting discussions occur over a beer or a glass of your favorite vino.  That’s the concept behind Suds & Science, a monthly event that brings scientists face-to-face with the general public in a neighborhood bar.

Two Scientists Walk Into a Bar

During Two Scientists Walk Into a Bar™, local scientists will enjoy something we all do: a beer and good conversation in a local bar. Join them, and ask them anything you want! They'll be easy to spot. Just look for the sign that reads: "We are scientists. Ask us anything!"
